Are there meetings during the summer?
Weekly meetings are not held during the summer, due to University restrictions. They are held during the Fall and Spring semesters. Location will vary, so if you would like to receive weekly announcements as to when meetings are held, you are welcome to email us at email@example.com.
Why is the meeting location TBA?
We don't have a set room assigned to the club, so we aren't always in the same room each week. We are currently trying to obtain a permanent room assignment from the University, but until then we won't know where we'll be meeting until a few days ahead of time. If you would like to join the mailing list to be notified of meeting locations, just send an email request here. You can also check to see if we've updated our schedule.
I don't go to UMass Amherst or live in the area, can I still join the club?
Unfortunately there isn't much we can do for people that don't live in the area, since all of our meetings and resources are located on campus. We do have a very lively Facebook Group where we talk and post about all things anime and manga, and anyone who is interested is more than welcome to join.
