Joining the club is ridiculously easy: join us on our Campus Pulse page and show up at any meeting (you don't need to be part of our group on Campus Pulse but if you are an undergraduate student it is highly recommended). Introducing yourself to the other members present isn't a bad idea either but isn't absolutely necessary.

Okay guys, a few things to talk about:

First of all, the Hatsune Miku concert I've been spamming you about is happening TONIGHT in the Cape Cod Lounge, from 8 to 10PM. Admission is $3 if you're not attending ConQuest, which you should be.

And I guess this should've been first of all, but whatever: we'll be in Morrill 1 N375 on Tuesday, 6:00 to 11:00. Remember that Tuesday is a Monday schedule!

That might fuck some things up for people because we are having OFFICER ELECTIONS during the business meeting. Please email us if you'd like to run for a position but can't because you have class/conflicts. We kind of desperately need officers for next semester, as has been previously mentioned, so it's important that people can actually make it.

We NEED: Vice-president, treasurer, librarian, and webmaster. All positions are up for grabs, so you could run for president too if you want.

Here's a quick description for each of the positions:

President: Presides over meetings, books rooms/equipment for events, maintains signature responsibility.
Vice-president: Fills in for the president when the president is absent, makes event posters/flyers.
Treasurer: Manages records/receipts for club finances, orders our DVDs/manga, maintains signature responsibility.
Librarian: Catalogs DVDs/manga for the club library, ensures we have each week's anime for viewing.
Webmaster: Updates website/mailing list, sends out emails, maintains Campus Pulse page.

In addition to that, every officer must commit to hours in the club office as well as officer meetings outside of club meeting times.
