UMASS Tae Kwon Do Mailing Lists

We have two main mailing lists that we use for communication with our teammates. One list is for announcements, and will not clutter up your inbox too much (only team officers can post to this list). The other list is for discussion, questions, and social conversation. If you are not yet a member of our team, please feel free to sign up for our mailing lists and ask questions!

The Announcement mailing list:

This moderated list is for announcements pertaining to the UMASS Tae Kwon Do Team. The list is intended to be low traffic (no more than a few messages per week) and will include things like notification of practice time changes, times of organizational meetings, and special events. Every member of the team should subscribe to the Announcement mailing list!

The Discussion list:

This unmoderated list is for discussion relating to the UMASS Tae Kwon Do Team. The list is intended for reaction to announcements and questions posted to the announce list, as well as for social discussion. This list may be higher volume than the announce list (i.e. more than a few emails per week).

Members of this list are asked to keep all posts appropriate to the proper spirit of Tae Kwon Do. Remember: the most important thing is to be honorable, and to adhere to the tenets of Tae Kwon Do.

The Black Belts mailing list:

This is a private list for the senior belts. It is used to organize teaching schedules, and for curricular discussion. If you hold a 2nd gup or above, Please email the moderator tshb@acm.org for an invitation to the list.

The Summer list:

This list to be used by members of UMASS Tae Kwon Do in order to coordinate summer practice and events.
