The UMass Tennis Club (UMTC) was founded in 2003 after the University eliminated the men’s tennis program.  The mission of the club is to provide the opportunity to play tennis to the entire UMass community.  Since its inception, the club has joined the United States Tennis Association’s Tennis on Campus program. The members of the club who participate on the competitive team participate in a co-ed World Team Tennis format against other colleges and universities throughout New England.  In addition, UMTC provides practices, tournaments, and other recreational activities for all of our members regardless of skill level.
