Who We Are

Who Are The Members?

SPIRALS is made up not only of undergraduate UMass students, but we welcome former students, Five College students, and community members to attend our meetings. We have many community members who are active on our mailing lists, and are wonderful people to have at our meetings.

SPIRALS includes members of many different faiths. We are a diverse group; it is one of our strengths!

What SPIRALS does for the community

We can refer you to good text sources regarding paganism; you can also check out our links section on our website for on-line resources. In addition we can network you with the local pagan community for learning, events, etc.

We have a library which offers access to books on theology, history, ritual, mythology, and a variety of Pagan religious traditions. We also have an additional body of non-circulating reference items and local and national Pagan periodicals, some dating back to the 1970s. Contact us for information about memberships.

SPIRALS can put on a panel regarding Neo-Paganism for classes, RA's, and other local groups. If you would like to have SPIRALS help you educate others regarding earth-based religions, please contact our outreach chair to set up a date and time. This is designed to be an informal event. Remember, panels are made up of students and community members with busy schedules. Please be willing to work with us.
