Community Legal Education
The Student Legal Services Office offers community legal education services covering a broad spectrum of legal issues. These may take the form of radio and television appearances, brochures, information sessions, training seminars, group presentations, or lectures. In the past, the office offered CLE services on subjects such as divorce law, landlord/tenant law, constitutional rights, the university discipline system, consumer law, sexual harassment, use of false ID's and other issues.
The Student Legal Services Office publishes a newsletter, The Student Rights Advocate, which is distributed throughout the university community, and addresses legal issues of concern to students. In addition, brochures are available on a wide variety of legal topics of concern to students.
