Case Policy
Our case policy, reviewed by the Student Legal Services Office Advisory Committee, delineates the kinds of cases that the office handles, depending upon available resources.

Determinations about what should be done in individual cases are made by the individual attorneys, based on ethical considerations, legal judgment, office staffing and resources, and the needs and desires of the clients involved. The range of services include referral, referral plus the distribution of educational materials to enable self representation, advice only, document preparation, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution, and litigation.
