What is the UMASS Ski 'N' Board Club?

As a member you get...

  • Most importantly, you can go on any of our wicked cheap trips
  • And any special little deal we might be able to get our hands on
  • Last but certainly not least, the opportunity to meet lots of wicked cool people

All for a mere $20

Who can join?
Anyone, whether you are a student or not. All types of people and skiers/boarders make up the club, those just learning how, near experts, and those that just go on the trips to have a good time.

How do you sign up?
One easy way, is to go to the UMASS Ski 'N' Board Club table in the Campus Center concourse and ask to sign up. Another option is to stop by the clubs office, 434 Student Union. And if you so choose, you could bring a filled out

sign up form.

Do we provide transportation?
For all of our major trips we do, and they aren't cheap school busses. The only trips we don't provide transportation for are night skiing and week long extravaganzas.

Where does the club ski?
Most of our day trips are to either Mount Snow or Killington, but the club has been known to day trip elsewhere. The club also runs trips during Spring Break and Winter Break, usually to somewhere special, like out west or Canada.

Does the club do anything besides ski/board?
Of course we do, each year we put together The Great UMASS Ski Sale, where anyone can buy some wicked cheap and wicked good winter gear. The sale has everything a person could need for the winter time, you'll just have to go to the sale to find out what is for sale. Besides a portion of the profits benefit the club to provide you with discounted trips.

The club also sells season passes, at discounted rates to ...

  • Stratton - Okemo - Mount Sunapee All in one
  • Mt Snow, Attitash, Crothed Mountain All in one

The club takes part in various community service projects in the Western Mass area.

What does LAGNAF mean?
You'll just have to go on some trips to find out.
