Self Portraits for Members Page

Please submit a profile photo of yourself and your camera to be added to our members page. Include your name, hometown, major, and a brief description o f your photographic experience. Limited to two paragraphs.

This is not mandatory but it's something to add to our boring website.

UMPS Flickr Accounts

I am going to suggest to the club body that we should create a pro flickr account for each of us to upload our photos. This is to save all of us from emailing photos into one account. That and make it mandatory for future members to create a flickr account to submit photos to our UMPS flickr group. We'll see how it is received at the meeting tonight. The Strobist blog is a very popular website that utilizes both free services to get users/readers to become more active. This is where I got the idea to do so. I think it will work better than having images uploaded to a local server or single account that is limited by upload bandwidth.
