Climbing takes place year round, with trips to local climbing areas such as Rose Ledge in Northfield and the Sunbowl in Sunderland. When it gets too cold to climb outside we go to the gym in Northampton frequently to keep in practice. Climbing takes place during spring break at places such as Seneca Rocks in West Virginia (caving also takes place then). UMOC members will teach all the necessary climbing basics.
