How much committment does the club need from people helping with instruction? Here's what we try for:
- Help teach wet exits 1-on-1 to 12 students
- Help teach rolling 1-on-1 for 15 minutes each to 10 students
- Instruct or assist with leading 8 students on river trips.
- Make time regularly to go paddling with lesser experienced paddlers from the group. Watch out for them, support them, and share with them what you know.
The above can be done each semester, in perhaps 3-6 pool
sessions and 2-4 river trips. In addition, you'll do a lot of other fun paddling!
