UMOC Ice Climbing
Ice climbing takes place during the winter months when it is cold enough to form ice on
many cliffs scattered throughout New England. There are some nearby
areas such as Auburn Ice Canyon in Auburn MA and Mt. Tom in nearby Easthampton
that provide some good climbing. For the more adventurous type many
larger ice flows are located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
and in Vermont.
