Lonesome Lake, New Hampshire Feb. 2003

This was a Newcomers Weekend hike in which 13 people braved below zero temperatures for a several hour hike up to the Lonesome Lake Hut in Franconia Notch. Fortunately despite the cold it was great weather and there was a warm fire up at the hut to provide some much needed relief from the bitter cold.
