[UMOC-Info] This is the main UMOC emailing list that the whole world may subscribe to. It is used by the club to send out weekly email updates about meetings and activities. [Alum] Not around but still would enjoy a way to keep some ties with other UMOC'ers from throughout the ages? Maybe this list can help! Are you a current club member wondering if you might be able to get some perspective or advice on something? Maybe there's a past member out there who can give you some. [Cabin] This list is for those people to keep in touch who are interested in or care for UMOC's cabin in the White Mountain region of New Hampshire. The cabin is an extremely useful and fun resource for UMOC. [Climb] UMOC does rock and ice climbing! Rock climbing tends to be a little more prevalent because ice climbing takes a little more time, effort and skills to deal with challenging weather and sharp objects. They're both a lot of fun! [Hike] UMOC still engages in the traditions of hiking, backpacking, camping, etc. In fact, they make up one of the club's largest areas of participation! [Kayak] UMOC does whitewater kayaking! [Raft] UMOC does whitewater rafting! Long standing member Al Howcroft is an avid whitewater rafter and devotes a generous amount of his time and effort to running several rafting trips each year and making them available to club members to be a part of them. [Ski] UMOC skis! Cross country skiing tends to be a little more prevalent but club members have been known to head out informally for some downhill action now and then too. They're both a lot of fun!
