Conneticut River Challenge, 2003

24 brave people participated in the 6th annual CRC which was held on Patriot's Day weekend in April 0f 2003. The idea of the CRC is to canoe day and night along the Connecticut River starting from near the Canadian border. People work in shifts alternating between sleeping, driving and paddling. The idea is to try to make it approximately 270 miles to Nothampton MA by the end of the weekend! This year's crew did not make it, but with over 200 combined miles paddled in 3 days it was a huge sucess. Many obstacles were overcome along the way and everyone survived the sleep deprivation and made some new friends. The following pictures highlight these adventures.
