MAMO "A bunch of Irrelevant Turd Touchers with a sick sense of humor!" -Your Name Here

I find that the word Mutant troubles a lot of members and I’ve seen it scare away quite a few more would be members. People ask what a Mutant is. They say things like "I don’t think I’m a Mutant, I’m not really that different from everyone else." I wish I had a simple description of what a Mutant is or I could think up a better name but I can’t. But chances are, if you’re reading this you are a mutant!
Don’t think of Mutant as a stereotype, for we are the un-stereotypicals of a hypocritic society. Being a Mutant doesn’t mean you’re a freak of nature, an artist, a communist, anarchist, new age groupie, straight edge fanatic, drugged out junkie, religious dupe. You don’t need high or low intelligence, a gOD complex, depression or other mental problems nor do you need social standing or "cool clothes". A Mutant needs none of these things to be Mutant, only to understand that they are an individual. If you happen to be any of the other stuff above then more power to ya!
Mutants tend to live lives quite similar to everyone else and many don’t ever realize their potential, only the lucky ones do. Being a mutant means having potential. Potential to think and act for yourself and get what you really want out of life. A Super Mutant is one who has Tapped that potential. In truth everyone is a mutant to some point. Everyone has something about them a little different from the next. Everyone has hope. But most people don’t know or don’t care. Most people do what their told, get 9 to 5 jobs and spend the rest of their lives slaves to society because they chose the path of least resistance. MAMO gives you a machete and if you sharpen that machete enough you can blaze your own trail just as easily as those on the path of least resistance.
Look at me, a Super Mutant. I’m no ‘New Messiah’ or anything but I have power. I used to be a geek but I stuck it out and now I’m Booga! Still a geek, but after I tapped my abnormality potential, WHOA! No need to work, kick ass friends of all types, a permanent natural high, incredible sex and yet even more incredible love, health, wisdom, president of an organization I founded, an artist, writer, party man and go-getter. I don’t fear death and I love life. Can you say the same? Sure I’m not perfect, but I’m as perfect as I want to be, perfect is boring, it’s already been done. With help I’ve learned to let my flaws take me where I want to go in life.
I didn’t write this little piece to make everyone think they’re a Mutant or something. I wrote this piece because I know a few real Mutants out there who are unsure of what they are and possibly unsure of where they are going. MAMO continues to fight against the hell of normal day to day life which curses so many Mutants. If you’re not a Mutant than give this to somebody else and get off the mailing list. If you are a Mutant then start going to meetings! MAMO has survived because a few members stuck to it. The more support, the more will happen. It’s your choice.

"Those who know do not need to be told: and those who do not know seldom listen"
