The elimination categories:

A show will be ranked based on its numerical score in the following categories. The categories and definitions are flexible. Each Executive Board may choose to rework them, as they deem necessary.

a. Technical feasibility: Explains if the group has the economical capability as well as the technical staff, designers and other resources to produce this show. Possible points: 1-5

b. Costume feasibility: Explains if the group has the economical capability as well as the costuming staff, designers and other resources to produce this show. Possible points: 1-5

c. Vocal feasibility (is applicable): Explains if the group has the raw talent as well as the training staff, vocal directors and other resources to produce the show. Possible points: 1-5

d. Orchestral feasibility (if applicable): Explains if the group has the resources to play the show and accompany rehearsals as well as the training staff, musical directors and other resources to produce the show. Possible points: 1-5

e. Publicity possibilities: Explains if the show will be able to draw an audience on the UMass campus and in the community enough to make producing a show a worthwhile experience financially and educationally. Possible points: 1-5

f. Cast opportunity: Explains if this show's cast offers an equal opportunity for a large number of members to learn and participate. Possible points: 1-5

g. Cast and crew experience: Explains if the show will provide a good enough learning opportunity and plenty of creative chances for a wide number of members in the cast as well as the crew and other members; and if it is a reasonable, feasible challenge that will be a positive experience for all who are involved. Possible points: 1-5

h. Guild benefit: Explains if this show will help the UMTG succeed in its Constitution mission and move forward, in any way, because of the show challenges, learning experience, message, ability to involve members or the community, or other reasons. Possible points: 1-5

i. Dance feasibility (if applicable): Explains if the group has the raw talent as well as the training, Choreographer, and other resources to produce the show. Possible points: 1-5
