The Chairperson is responsible for initiating all group activities, the program development process, facilitating membership meetings and maintaining membership morale. He/She is responsible for the scheduling of rooms for meetings, rehearsals and other UMTG events. The Chairperson also meets regularly with the UMTG advisor. He/She is the representative of UMTG to the UMass campus and outside community. The Chairperson works with the Treasurer on budgetary matters. He/She has signature responsibility.
