The UMASS Theatre Guild is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Run by UMASS students, the UMTG produces two shows each semester: one musical performance and one play.

The UMTG is a volunteer organization providing a practical learning environment committed to facilitating student-run, theater-oriented experiences for UMASS College students and community members.

In addition to the two shows, the Guild holds open meetings every other Wednesday during the semester. The Guild also hosts other events such as day trips to New York City, Open Mic Coffeehouses, and Theater Workshops.

Membership is open to anyone in the area, especially five-college students. Voting privileges, however, are limited to UMass students. For more information, consult the UMTG Constitution.
