We are proud to congratulate former UMass rowers Tim Cotreau and Scott MacLellan; who, after a year of rigorous training competed in Ironman Wisconsin in early September. The course included a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run. Both successfully finished, Scott with a time of 13:04:21 and Tim with a time of 13:15:08. They also competed in a 4+ this summer, placing first at the Narragansett Boat Club Sweeps and Sculls Regatta with a time of 6:45.28; and are planning on getting back on the water to compete in a couple more head races this fall. Julie, a former UMass coxswain, continues to support them in all of their endeavors.
