Directions by Car

• Salve Regina University is situated at the southeastern end of Aquidneck Island.

From Western Massachusetts and Northern New England:

• Take Mass Pike to exit 10. Take Route 146. Stay on 146 to Providence where it joins Route 95 South. Get immediately into the left lane so as to pick up Route 195 East, Newport-Fall River. On the far side of Fall River pick up Route 24 South. Stay on Route 24 to Aquidneck Island. Take Route 138 South. Follow signs to Newport.

From Boston:

• Take Route 128 to Route 24 South to Route 138 South. Follow signs to Newport. Approximately one hour and a half.

From New York:

• Take Route I-95 North to Rhode Island Exit 3(Route 138 East). Follow signs to Newport Bridge. Approximately three and one half hours.

In Newport:

• Coming over the Newport Bridge, take the first exit, Scenic Newport. At the second light, bear right. At the seventh set of lights, be in the left hand lane and go straight up hill; this is Memorial Boulevard. At the second light, take right onto Bellevue Avenue. At the next light, take left onto Narragansett Avenue. Take first right onto Ochre Point Avenue.
• Coming from Boston and points north and east, take Route 138 South to 138A, Newport Beaches. (Texaco station on left) At the second light, take a left and go by the beach and up hill(Memorial Boulevard). At top of hill, follow Salve Regina sign in median, making a U-turn and an immediate right onto Annandale Road. Drive to end and take a left onto Narragansett Avenue. Take a right onto Ochre Point Avenue.
