Instillation: Mousumi's house in Amherst, University of Massachusetts Circle K!!! Members Present: Suzanne, Rob, Katerina, Corinne, Jenny, Erin, Aimee, Aaron, Kevin, Tashamma, Mousumi and Mr. Carrots. Minutes: Well, this was an unofficial kind of meeting thing because of instillation, but this is what we did for recording purposes. We began by eating all the food we had brought. And let me say that the lasagna, chicken and spinach pie thing were outstanding! I was impressed (and I think everyone else too) by the wonderful cook in our club! Mo suggested we make every meeting a pot luck it was so amazing. Better than the D.C. that's for darn sure...Mo then opened some birthday presents from her roommate (her 22nd birthday was yesterday) and the card had a mostly naked man on the front. We suspected Aaron, but he had no comments on the subject and quickly began eating some spinach pie. Aimee then officially scared the crap out of us (or should I say lasagna) by dinging the juice jar with a knife. Kathy reported that she thinks she has the bell, but it unsure of it's whereabouts. Mo began by saying she was grateful for having such a wonderful organization where she feels she is doing something to help the world. Tashamma then gave a beautiful speech that left us not only misty, but blushing as well. She gave flowers to Kathy and many thank yous to members. She also coined the new phrase "It will be okay if you don't pull a Shalay..." I'm sure it will be used for generations to come. We then presented her with a candle and a thank you card for all her work as our presidente. Aimee then had all the officers AKA staff AKA e-board sworn in with a long list of stuff we are supposed to do, but all I can remember is to do the job to the best or our ability, and I do. Our officers (as if you didn't know by now) are Katerina = editor Corinne = treasurer Rob = vice president my bad self = secretary and our fearless leader and president, Suzanne. Although we didn't all have pins, we will be getting them soon. Suzanne did get hers from Tashamma. Aimee was then presented with Mr. Carrots our mascot and we all took our very first group picture soon to be on the web. Hopefully, it will come out okay...We then unofficially discussed the Walk for Hunger and Erin, Rob Aaron and I will be staying with Katerina and her family on Saturday night and meeting Aimee and Suzanne at the walk the next day.
