University of Massachusetts Amherst Circle K
Regular Meeting: 114 Stockbridge hall
Minutes: We started on time and Kasha even brought her younger sister
along! WE had other visitors as well, Steve the Kiwanian and brought a
friend who spoke about the Special Olympics. We then talked about KPTI
weekend (which is this weekend). Andrea gave us a speech about what is it
exactly going on and we then figured out the drivers and all that stuff.
Special Olympics needs our help especially on the 9th of November. They
want us to meet at noon at the Amherst police station. Suzanne brought up
the pledge to KPTI which we decided is going to be $1,000.00. It is due
the last weekend of February. National Service Day is coming up soon!
And we need a kickin' idea. Kasha offered that we could each sponsor a
family for Thanksgiving/Christmas and each one would get a complete meal.
We are also going to auction ourselves off for Kiwanis - like raking and
cleaning windows and stuff. We may even have the Kiwanians come here.
Also during the meeting we made "what happiness is" for the KPTI children.
It was fun and kind of neat to color again. And that's all from the desk
