UMass Takes a Trip to the NCBA World Series

After winning the Northeast Atlantic Region, UMass traveled to sunny Bradenton, Florida to compete in the 2005 Club Baseball World Series. Once there, Umass battled hard but fell short. They first lost to No. 2 ranked Maryland 4-2 putting them into the losers bracket. Next they fell to No. 3 ranked Sam Houston 7-5. Although UMass was unable to leave with a victory they were very excited to be there and with a lot of returning players and with a new group of student athletes coming in to the school, look for them to continue to succeed and make their way back to the NCBA World Series.
