Lisa DiGiusto is currently a Sophomore at UMass Amherst, majoring in both VocalPerformance,
and Voice and piano Education.
She is a second semester Bronzedancer on the Ballroom Dance Team, and loves every minute of it.
She has beendancing since she was three years old, and some of her other dance experienceshave been competing in various competitions with her dance studio,
performing onthe Varsity Dance Team for four years at her high school, and training with theRadio City Rockettes for the past three summers in New York City.
Ballroom has definitely become a passion for her, and she hopes to continue to ballroom dance even after she leaves UMass!
Sarah Schultz is currently a junior at UMass Amherst, studying political science
and English literature. She began my dance training in classical ballet, and performed with Boston Dance Company from 2004 - 2009.
She joined ballroom to continue dancing in college, "I just love to dance!" This is her second semester on the team, and first semester as treasurer.
Jessica Eaton is currently a senior mathematics major with a minor in education at UMass.
She has been on the Ballroom Team for 5 semesters. Growing up she was a highly-competitive gymnast until entering college.
Searching for a new sport, she found ballroom dance at UMass and has been dedicated ever since.
Continuing her competitive drive, she has competed at many competitions and placed well in all styles of ballroom dancing.
Throughout her time with the team she has also held the position of publicist for two semesters.
Morgan has been Ballroom dancing for nine years.
For the first six years she was a student and then instructor of an organization which teaches social dance to middle school students.
She began Competitive Ballroom dancing with UMass Ballroom when she started school at Mount Holyoke College In the Fall of 2006.
She has placed at the silver level, in both the Latin and Rhythm divisions.
She is recently recovered from a back injury and looking for a partner to with which to begin dancing again.
Throughout her time with the team she has also held the position of Registrar for three semesters.
