SAVE THE DATE: The Rosenberg Fund for Children (RFC) will celebrate their 30th anniversary with an intergenerational celebration of activism, family and community in this gala event .
You’re invited to an evening with activist icon, scholar and RFC Advisory Board member Angela Y. Davis and former RFC grant recipients Leah Grady Sayvetz and Davíd Morales, in an intergenerational conversation about activism, family and community, moderated by RFC Board member José Ayerve.
The evening will also include a short film, poetry by RFC Advisory Board member Martín Espada, and music from folk rockers The Nields, all reflecting on the challenges and rewards of resistance, and what gives them hope in dark times.
Father and daughter Robert and Jenn Meeropol (RFC founder and current executive director, and son and granddaughter of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg), will also share their inspiring stories behind the creation of the Fund, and the vision for its future.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the cash bar prior to the event, and during the social hour at the program’s conclusion along with event participants and RFC Board & staff.
