On July 20, the UMass Board of Trustees awarded tenure to nine UMass College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) faculty and approved transfers of tenure home for five others. The newly tenured faculty members are:
- Scott Blinder, Political Science
- David A. Keiser, Resource Economics
- Jasmine Kerrissey, Sociology
- Mark C. Pachucki, Sociology
- Douglas R. Rice, Political Science
- Rong Rong, Resource Economics
- Elizabeth A. Sharrow, Political Science
- Alena Vasilyeva, Communication
- Rodrigo Zamith, Journalism
In addition, the UMass Board of Trustees approved the transfers of tenure home for the following faculty: Kevin Young’s tenure line has been transferred to Economics, and four faculty will move tenure lines to the School of Public Policy: Brenda Bushouse, Jane Fountain, John Hird, Alasdair Roberts, and Elizabeth Sharrow.
