IRB Guidelines - Use of Specimens & Private Information
Discussion of activities involving biological specimens and other private information. Discussion include how to assess whether an activity constitutes non-exempt human subjects research and clarifies when regulations (45 CFR 46) do and do not apply to an activity. This is an advanced topic video and is best suited to viewing by individuals already possessing a basic understanding of the HHS regulations for the protection of human subjects. See also:
