Strengthening Your Research Proposal with
Effective "Broader Impacts"

Location: Amherst Room, Campus Center, 10th Floor
Hosted in conjunction with the College of Natural Sciences, a key focus of this interactive workshop will be how to team up with existing campus initiatives to make your contributions more efficient and more sustainable. There will be a short presentation from an NSF Program Officer and opportunities to discuss your Broader Impact (BI) ideas with leaders of STEM outreach and diversity units on campus. Program Committee: Julian Tyson (CNS), Rick Adrion (CS), Elizabeth Vierling (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), Richard Yuretich (Geosciences), William Miller (UMass Extension), and Barbara Pearson (Office of Research Development).
