SUBJECT: Change in the University Mileage Reimbursement Rate 2006

We have received notification from Stephen W. Lenhardt in the President’s Office that the mileage reimbursement rate for employees who use their cars on University business will decrease to 44.5 cents per mile from the revised rate of 48.5 cents per mile set in September 2005. This is consistent with the rate set by the IRS and is effective January 1, 2006.
