Arthur Kinney is currently the Thomas W. Copeland Professor of Literary History, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds an M.S. from Columbia University; and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Kinney has been a member of the Department of English faculty at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 1966.

Responsible for finances, household maintenance, event scheduling, record-keeping, newsletter design and editing, patron assistance, and anything else that comes up.

Responsible for cataloging the majority of the Center's modern books and managing the collection. Works with Director on book acquisitions and designs displays of rare materials. Currently at work on a cataloging and digitization project of manuscript material in the Center's rare printed books.

Responsible for program planning and coordination for all Center events, educational outreach, grant writing, marketing and publicity.
