The Department of Educational Policy, Research, and Administration is very
pleased to announce that Professor Stephen G. Sireci, Chairperson of the Research
and Evaluation Methods Program has been selected along with six other distinguished
University of Massachusetts professors to receive the 2009 University of
Massachusetts Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in Research and Creative
Activity. He will receive this award at the fifth annual faculty convocation,
to be held on Friday, October 2, 2009, from University Chancellor Robert C. Holub.
Steve's colleagues in the Research and Evaluation Methods Program are very happy
that he is receiving the recognition because he is highly deserving,
immensely productive, and serves as an excellent role model for both faculty
and students.
REMP's Ronald K. Hambleton was presented with this award in 2005.
Congratulations on this honor, Professor Sireci!
