Alumni News: Promotion for ETS' Pitoniak!

Recently, REMP Alumna Dr. Mary Pitoniak (UMass Ph.D., 2004) received a major promotion at Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ. As Strategic Advisor and Director of Special Projects at ETS, Mary will continue in her various roles within the NAEP project as the individual primarily responsible for project activities associated with the Design and Analysis Committee and the Task Order Components of ETS' work on NAEP. Included in her new responsibilities are the following activities:
  • Director for Capacity Building Activities, in which Mary will be the contact person for ETS provided technical training and workshops worldwide.

  • Liason to the UMASS/Assistantship Collaboration, where Mary will be working with Professors Ronald K. Hambleton and Stephen G. Sireci of UMASS to develop the procedures needed to implement and monitor this important outreach activity.

  • Manage special projects and provide special assistance to the VP, in which Mary will assist John Mazzeo in developing and presenting psychometrics-related material both inside and outside of ETS.

  • Congratulations, Mary!
