Dr. Jennifer Randall from Emory University in Atlanta will be joining the Research and Evaluation Methods Program in September of 2007 as a faculty member. Dr. Randall has been a graduate student at Emory for the last four years working under the direction of George Engelhard, and completed her dissertation earlier this year. Prior to that time, she earned both a BA in Psychology and History and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Duke University. Her dissertation is on the topic of grading practices of teachers.

The expectation is that Jennifer will be teaching courses in research design, classroom assessment, and statistics, and a measurement seminar. We are especially excited about Jennifer because she addresses several teaching needs of the program, and she is expected to become involved in several of the Center for Educational Assessment's projects.
