On Monday, March 5, 2012, Dr. Michael Krezmien of the Department of Student Development at UMass-Amherst will speak at Psychometrics. His talk, entitled "Understanding Marginalized Youth and the Educational Systems Supporting Them", will take place in 151 HIlls South at 12pm.
Dr. Krezmien is currently Assistant Professor at UMass. He obtained his Ph.D. from the UNiversity of Maryland in 2007. His professional interests include Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Juvenile Justice, Transitions, Mental Health, School Discipline, Social and Educational Inequities Associated with Race and Disability Status, Literacy and Mathematics Education
