Hambleton named Inaugural Fellow of AERA |
Recently, Professor Ronald K. Hambleton of UMass was named an Inaugural Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. Per the press release, the Inaugural Fellows "include past presidents and scholars who have been selected to receive the AERA Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award and association members who have been inducted into other research organizations through 2006."
The American Educational Research Association, with 25,000 members, is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.
