Conference Presentations:

Two faculty members from UMass were involved in several sessions at the National
Conference on Student Assessment, organized by the Council of Chief State School
Officers. The 2009 conference was held in Los Angeles, California, in June 2009.
UMass's Professor Stephen G. Sireci was involved in three sessions as a
presenter: The Next Generation of Advocacy in Education: The Intersection of
Policy, Practice, and Technical Quality, Findings from the Evaluation of
the National Assessment of Educational Progress, and Comparability of
Test Scores: What's New, What's Next.
UMass's Ronald K. Hambleton presented in the session on Findings from the Evaluation of
the National Assessment of Educational Progress.
