Secular Humanist
There is not currently a Secular Humanist group at UMass Amherst, but students who are interested in forming such a group, or connecting with other like-minded students, may contact the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life for assistance.
There are many philosophical and ethical belief systems which contribute to a sense of meaning and purpose in life. So we would be glad to help you form a group, bring relevant speakers to campus, or otherwise support those of you who identify with various humanistic and ethical traditions which are not explicitly "religious" or "spiritual" in nature (or reject religion, spirituality, and metaphysics altogether). We're here for you too!!
