International
Transcript Review
Current
UMass Students Who Studied Outside the US Prior to Attending UMass:
The evaluation of international credits generally involves extended
research and generally cannot be conducted by appointment. Materials
submitted will be reviewed by a transfer counselor and a written
confirmation of awarded credit will be sent to students within a 2-3
week period. If students wish to discuss the evaluation after it has
been done, an appointment with a transfer counselor may be made at that
time.
Current UMass
Students Who Are Going on an Education Abroad Program:
Go to the International Programs Office, 455 Hills South to complete
all paperwork required before the abroad program begins to ensure the
credits are evaluated by the Education Abroad Registrar and are
properly transferred back to UMass.
Are You
Requesting a First-Time Review of a New Transcript?
Bring your official transcript or other documentation to the Records
Office, 207 Whitmore. Your file will be forwarded to the
Admissions Office for review
by a transfer counselor.
After the review is completed, written
confirmation of credit awards will be sent to you. IMPORTANT: In
order to receive transfer credits, you must submit an OFFICIAL
transcript or other document. If you are unable to obtain an official
document from your school and if you have an unofficial document in
your possession, we will make a certified copy of your original
document at the reception desk of the Admissions Office.
Are You
Requesting a Revision of Previously Reviewed Credits?
