Description: Children innately have many ways of making meaning and developing complex literacies. Taking this into account, three elementary teachers share their experiences casting a new look at their pedagogical decisions to use technology and a holistic framework to drive writing instruction and assessment in their classrooms. The primary goal on all levels is to enable students to become effective and confident written communicators by engaging them in high-quality, authentic writing projects that are appropriate to their lived and potentially future realities.
