Description: This presentation involves an exploration of how a Boston high school English teacher assesses and publishes her immigrant students’ stories about family, cultural backgrounds, and oral traditions. Participants will be engaged in the investigation of selected students’ stories and will discuss her rubric which honors students’ cultural backgrounds and ways of making meaning. |
