Trash the Competition!

Recycling cans tossed by students in one semester would save enough electricity to run 10,000 TV's for 139 hours. Students recycling all their paper would prevent over 20,000 lbs. of air pollution and conserve 140,000 gallons of oil each semester!

This semester UMass will compete with 200 other colleges to win Top College Recycling Program honors for Spring 2007.
