Political Science Majors RAP – Fall 2008

All students entering UMass Amherst as Political Science Majors are welcome to join this fantastic RAP!

The program is a wonderful opportunity for 24 first-year students who would like to meet other Political Science majors, make connections to faculty, and learn about the many opportunities within the department of Political Science at UMass Amherst.

Political Science RAP students will enroll in a small section of Political Science 197B – “Power” taught by a Political Science professor in the residential area. Power is the key concept in political analysis. This class will examine how Power is conceptualized, what it is and who has it. The dialogue in the class will be dynamic and inspirational.

There will be a special section of the Political Science department's new one-credit first-year seminar “Life in Political Science” reserved for the students in this RAP.
