Ernst & Young Partners in Education (PiE) RAP - Fall 2009
This program is a unique collaboration between Ernst & Young, the renowned professional services firm, and the Isenberg School of Management (ISOM). The program seeks to open doors to ISOM for strong academic performers from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
The RAP is for 24 students interested in business who were not directly admitted as ISOM majors. As the RAP is by invitation only , students will be contacted directly by the Isenberg School of Management. Click here for more information.A key goal of the Ernst & Young Partners in Education Program is to help ISOM graduate a significant number of new professionals from culturally diverse backgrounds who will embark on exciting careers in business. Ernst & Young will provide various forms of support to students in the program!
When you join this RAP you will…
- Live and learn with other high-achieving students with a passion for business
- Work with a peer mentor from ISOM and a professional mentor from Ernst & Young
- Enroll in a small class in your residential area
- Take an ISOM 1-credit Corporate Seminar
- Receive support from Ernst & Young as you progress toward your academic and career goals
- Visit Ernst & Young's offices in Boston and New York
Classes
In the fall, students will enroll in the following classes:
- Econ 104 – Introduction to Macroeconomics
- Math 104 – Algebra, Analytic Geometry, and Trigonometry
- School of Management 191A – Corporate Seminar, 1-credit
In the spring, students will enroll in the following class:
- Econ 103 – Introduction to Microeconomics
- English Writing 112 – College Writing
Location
Students will live together in Thoreau Hall in the Southwest residential area of campus.
