"Dr. Shulman is a very user-friendly trainer. I was a first time user of Atlas.ti and he explained it in a way that I understood at the time, and can still remember. I would highly recommend him."
Sue Anderson, U. of Arizona

"Dr. Shulman was very informative and patient with people who were less technologically savvy. I would attend another of his workshops"
Ester Ruiz, Arizona State U.

"
The assistance provided by the site was invaluable. I will recommend QDAP to my graduate students and continue to rely on it for my own qualitative research needs."
Bronwynne Evans, ASU

Coming soon: Regular Web-based training sessions for
federal agency officials beta testing the Public Comment Analysis Toolkit.

Over the last four years, I have done a number of ATLAS.ti, Coding Analysis Toolkit and DURIAN trainings for faculty and graduate students as well as for officials in the US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. These are hands-on, computer lab-based sessions, with a lively spirit and much Q&A. Trainings have included personnel from the University of British Columbia, Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, the University of Oregon, Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Pittsburgh, Princeton University, the HealthCare Chaplaincy, and the Association of Internet Researchers. I have also presented colloquia on validity in text analysis at the CAQDAS Networking Project, the Program in Statistic and Methodology at Ohio State, and the Methodology Institute of the London School of Economics. For information on rates and availability, please send me an e-mail.

Beta test our Blog Analysis Toolkit that creates archives of CAT-ready blog posts (quick start tutorial).
Download a primer on using ATLAS.ti (.pdf) (.doc) and a step-by step ATLAS merge guide (.pdf) (.doc).
