Senate approves new department names for
HRTA, Sport Studies

ewly ensconced in the Isenberg School of Management, the departments of Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration and Sport Studies have had name changes approved by the Faculty Senate.

     At its March 27 meeting, the senate voted to rename HRTA as the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management and Sport Studies as Sport Management.

     he senate also approved changing the names of the undergraduate major and graduate programs within the former HRTA to reflect the depart-ment's new name and the names of the graduate programs in the former Sport Studies to reflect its new name.
