Sullivan named Lottery head

ne of the campus's most steady alumni supporters in the Legislature, Rep. Joseph C. Sullivan (D-Braintree), has been chosen to be the new executive director of the state Lottery.

Sullivan, who just began his sixth term in the House, was tapped for the post by new state Treasurer Timothy Cahill.

A 1981 graduate, Sullivan is the House chairman of the Joint Transportation Committee.
