Search begun for faculty advisor

I nterim Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost Charlena Seymour has begun a search for an academic advisor to the provost for Undergraduate Education, she announced at the Nov. 14 Faculty Senate meeting.

She has put together a search committee comprising associate professor of Women's Studies Alexandrina Deschamps, senate secretary Ernest May, deputy provost John Cunningham, Student Government Association representative Mark Morrison, Mary Deane Sor-cinelli, associate provost for Faculty Development and director of the Center For Teaching, and dean of Engineering Joseph Goldstein, who will chair the committee.

"It's important that we assure a quality education for all of our students," Seymour said.
