Obituaries

Sophie S. Storozuk

Sophie S. Storozuk, 76, of Sunder-land, a retired institutional domestic aide in the Dining Commons, died Feb. 2 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northamp-ton.

She served the University for nearly 21 years before retiring in 1987.
Educated in Montague schools, she farmed with her husband in Sunderland for many years.

She was a member of the St. Stani-slaus Church in South Deerfield, Our Lady of Perpetual Health Society, St. Ann's Sodality of the church, and the bingo committee. She also was active in the annual church chicken barbecue for several years.

Her husband, Stanley, died in 1999.
She leaves two sons, Stanley Jr. of West Granby, Conn., and Thomas of Sunderland; a daughter, Cynthia Wancyzk of Hadley; a brother, three sisters, 11 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
