University Controller resigns; interim successor named

anet Wancyzk, who served as University controller for the past 12 years, has been named vice president for administration and chief fiscal officer at Springfield Technical Community College.

      Chosen through a national search, Wanczyk begins her new duties Jan. 14.

      Prior to assuming the controller's job, Wanczyk served as assistant controller for nine years. She earned her doctorate in Higher Education through the School of Education and her bachelor's and master's degrees through the School of Management.

      Deputy University controller Christine Wilda will serve as interim controller, effective Jan. 12, according to Vice President for Management and Fiscal Affairs and Treasurer Stephen W. Lenhardt.
